Q. Where do you operate?
A. We currently have several yards and depots including Auckland , Orewa, and Whangarei. 

Q. Where does the bus pick up / drop off?
A. The bus will pick you up and drop you off from your chosen location .  We can travel anywhere a bus can go, however, depending on where the pickup is travel charges may apply. These charges will be included in any written quotation from us.

Q. Do you have a minimum number to book?
A. We have many different size buses so just let us know how many guests you would like and we will find a bus to suit you at the best price – this means you will have exclusive use of you own bus to go where you heart desires!

Q. Is there a minimum age restriction?
A. No, our buses are safe for passengers both young and old, however, if you are drinking on the bus everyone needs to be over 18.  

Q. What clubs and pubs do we visit?
A. This is entirely up to you. Our Party Bus team can work with you prior to your event with suggestions or you can tell the driver of all the places you would like to visit on the night.

Q. Do we have to visit Pubs and Clubs?
A. The normal for a pub crawl is to travel to different venues, if you are looking at not stopping at venues try our Ultimate Party Bus – then the bus is the venue!

Q. Are we allowed to drink on the bus?
A. Yes, however you will need to apply for liquor license from the local Council from the area you will be departing from. Application forms are provided from the PBC Party bus if requested.   Obtaining your liquor license can take up to 20 days and a fee will be required to pay to the council for your license.  It is the Council's decision to issue or not issue the license – please be aware of this when booking your party bus.

Q. What happens if passengers get out of control?
A. The driver has the right to refuse entry, ask a passenger to leave the bus or terminate the hire in situations when they believe that the safety of the driver, vehicle or the general public is compromised.  An example of this is where a passenger(s) damage the bus or are fighting.  In the unlikely event the hire is terminated due to behavior of passengers there is no refund.  The idea of a Party Bus is for all guests to have a great time, just please enjoy your hire responsibly!

Q.Does my price include alcohol?
A. No all alcohol is BYO – Remember for safety reasons we do not have glass or glass bottles onboard.  With glass onboard your guests can easily be injured.  Cans and plastic glasses are far better and reduce the risk of chipping your front teeth. Champagne is permitted by special request.

Q. How many pickups, stops and drop offs can we have?
A. We can work around your requirements however we prefer 1 initial pickup and 1 final drop off as it is much easier to organize your event and you get the maximum amount of time to enjoy the bus. We can have as many drop offs as your booking time allows, however, remember you need to factor in extra time for each pickup, stop off and drop off due to crowd control.

Q. Is there a minimum hire time?
A. We are happy to work with whatever your requirements are, however, for all pub crawls to receive our discounted per hour rates there is a minimum of 4 hour hire time except during the peak months of November & December where the minimum of 5 hours hire time take effect. If you have booked our ULTIMATE party bus it is a 5 hour minimum hire time throughout the year.

Q. Are there toilets on the bus?
A. Most of our vehicles do not have a toilet, however, we can make stops for passengers to use toilets off board. We stop as soon as it is safe to do so at an acceptable location. The exception is if you have booked our ULTIMATE Party Bus, this coach does have a toilet onboard.

Q. Can we bring our own music?
A. Yes you can bring IPods or CDs on the bus to play through our stereo system. Our ULTIMATE party bus comes with your very own DJ so no need to bring along music!  If you want to use an IPod please request this at the time of booking

Q. Can we decorate the bus?
A. Yes you can decorate your pub crawl bus, this can be done at the first pick up point.  You do need to remove the decorations at the end of the hire.  Just remember not to damage the bus in the process or there may be repair charges. 

Q. Are we allowed to smoke on the bus?
A. I’m afraid not – it is illegal.

Q.Is a deposit required?
A. Yes, we cannot confirm the vehicle booked until the deposit is received so please get your deposit in as soon as possible or you may miss out on the vehicle you want.  If you are hiring the Ultimate Party Bus or your cost per bus is over $1,000 a non–refundable deposit of $500 per bus is required, otherwise the non-refundable deposit is $200 per bus.  Your deposit will be taken off your total balance.  If a deposit is not received and the event date is within seven days, your booking is likely to be cancelled.

Q. When is the final payment required?
A. You can pay the final balance prior to your event or at the first pick up by cash or bank cheque .  Please note - we will not accept personal cheques as payment on the night or less than 7 days prior to the booking!

Q. How can I pay?

    * Visa or Mastercard over the telephone
    * EFTPOS or Cash at our depot – 149 State Highway 16, Whenuapai, Auckland
    * Transfer or deposit the money into our bank account. The number is 02-0800-0594652-01 Bank of New Zealand, Christchurch Branch

Please include your booking number as a reference so it is allocated correctly

Q. What happens if I have paid my deposit and I have to change my date?
A. The booking is for a particular date, however, if you give us sufficient warning to rebook the event or bus we are happy to change the event date for you and transfer your deposit paid.
