If you are really lucky with your job, you can often get some pretty good perks! I think I’m doing pretty well as I work for the Party Bus Company and yes… you guessed it, I love a good party!
But I would have to say that for me to have the opportunity of celebrating my big 30 with all my friends on a party bus… was definitely the most awesome perk of working at The Party Bus Company!
A great venue for a party
I thought I would take this opportunity to tell you about the great night I had and give you some idea of what you could do for your next Party Bus event or celebration.
I arranged for everyone to meet the at the Elephant Wrestler in Takapuna as I didn’t want to have to clear up any pre-drinks mess at my own place afterwards. The staff at Elephant Wrestler looked after us all really well and the reserved tables were ready when we arrived, along with platters of food being delivered at just the right time – a perfect start to the night.
Introducing ‘The Rock Party Bus’
The Party bus of my choice was our newest party bus fleet member – The Rock Party Bus… it’s totally amazing!
8.30pm came around pretty quick and The Rock Party Bus arrived on time and all ready for us to pile on board to the throbbing beat of the music. Drinks were served and away we went to our first destination which was Mission Bay.
Pole dancing anyone?
The main reason why I chose The Rock Party Bus was because of the most awesome dancing pole that sits smack bang in the middle of the bus surrounded by a mini dance floor. I thought it would be great fun everyone to try the pole, especially on a moving bus! I will admit that when we first boarded the bus and were on the drive to Mission Bay most of the guests were a little wary of the pole and sat down with their drinks.
On arrival at Mission Bay we went to a cute Bistro called Dalmatia which again was a perfect choice and we got to enjoy some delicious desserts – this was mainly for my benefit as I have a massive sweet tooth (well it was my birthday…). Forty five minutes later and we were all welcomed back onboard The Rock by our party bus host and Robert our driver, for a cruise around Auckland.
Cruising around Auckland in party mode is so much fun!
The first sightseeing stop was Bastion point and Robert did the honours by taking some pictures of us all. After Bastion Point we were happy to cruise around Auckland leaving the route up to the driver.
It was around this time that The Rock dancing pole finally got some action.
The music was awesome and it wasn’t long before all my buddies showed their dancing skills (or lack off) on the centre piece of the bus. Unfortunately the pictures just don’t do it justice! There was a lot of laughter, encouraging prods and some very interesting moves…
There is just something about having a celebration on a Party Bus that absolutely guarantees a great night! It may the fact that you have this awesome exclusive bus venue for you and your guests, or maybe it’s because everyone stays together and no trouble can brew.
But whatever the reason I have only ever have had amazingly good Party Bus experiences… and believe me… I am one picky lady.
If anyone needs help with any ideas or wants to know more, I would love to help as this is my area of expertise and I love organising, planning and being a part of any event, occasion or celebration.
Check out some of our Stag and Hen party packages that are coming soon and we will make it a night to remember – you can be sure of that!
Till next time – Gem
